Modern high efficiency air conditioning equipment can change the environment in your duct system very slightly but enough to trigger a mold bloom of existing spores in the system. The most effective way to deal with, prevent and treat the mold is by introduction of the Fresh Aire Ultra Violet lamp with Ozone generator. The Ultra Violet operates at a wave length which is antiseptic to virus, bacteria, mold and fungus spores. The Ozone generator will oxidize organisms including dust mites down stream in the duct system. The Ozone generator will also oxidize and break down organic gases prevalent in the house which untreated can co combine at the evaporator coil and produce sulfuric and hydrochloric acid which attacks and perforates the evaporator coil. |
