5 Winter Heating Safety Tips:
1) It is important to keep all heating devices at least 36" away from any flammable objects or surfaces.
2) Remember to always inspect and clean your chimneys annually before use.
3) Install carbon monoxide detectors and be aware of dangerous fumes that heating devices can produce if not maintained properly.
4) Have a safety exit plan in place for your family in case of emergencies and make sure your kids know them!
5) Never use ovens or grills as secondary heating sources because they can give off dangerous fumes that can be undetectable without proper safety equipment.
