Robert Akins is an Alabama Certified Master Gas Fitter - which allows him to work on gas lines - and provides services in gas piping, water heaters, furnaces, space heaters, and pool heaters as well as all gas fittings.

We always offer FREE estimates on new systems. The models we typically install come with 10 year or lifetime warranties on equipment. We always offer a one year warranty on service for new installations, and there are additional coverage options for up to 10 years of service for your unit.
With specialised modeling we can determine the optimal equipment for keeping your home comfortable, and your heating/cooling bill low. Or maybe you have that 'cold winter room' that is also always 'just too hot' in summer: we can diagnose and fix duct layout issues which often contribute to these unbalanced systems and runs up your electric bill. Multizone systems are yet another option. Heating and cooling is all applied science, in which our ACS family has over 40 years of experience!

Preventative Maintenance
ACS, Inc originated the Preventative Maintenance program in Alabama decades ago. It saves our clients money, time, and inconvenience. According to our suppliers we have the lowest compressor failure rate of any other company in Alabama.
All mechanical equipment needs routine care and cleaning. Cars need regular oil changes and checks, filters changed, etc. The same is true with your HVAC system. To this effect we have a very popular Preventative Maintenance Agreement. Normal prices for a system check, cleaning, and filter changes are typically around $200+, but we offer a three year contract to save our customers as much as 40%!
Depending on what filters your system has, our technicians come out once or twice a year to do a thorough system check, change filters and UV bulbs, and clean the systems. They will make sure your HVAC is running at peak efficiency, and catch problems before they become major issues. We offer monthly payment options for PMA's for your convenience.
